Stephanie Koehler

Publishing Specialist

“She has the ability to take complex problems and distill them down to their essence in a way that consistently made my projects better.” – Kim Schutte, Director, Consumer Marketing Services, Ingram Content Group

A passionate advocate for reading and a book industry veteran, Stephanie understands how to create high-quality books, how best to market them, and why readers choose to buy them. She joined the Books Fluent team in November 2019 to develop and launch a unique publishing program: giving authors access to tools and expertise to create beautiful, market-ready books.

Stephanie manages day-to-day production, sales, marketing, and client relationships for Books Fluent. Her years of experience as a book marketer have shaped all of our services, from cover design to e-commerce optimization.

Stephanie has marketed books on behalf of hundreds of publishers at Ingram Content Group, fundraised for an urban library system, and produced a national book review magazine, Book Page. Her publishing journey started at a literacy nonprofit, where she managed a physical inventory of over 60,000 children’s books destined to find new homes with at-risk students.

She lives in Nashville, TN, and works to promote literacy and education through volunteerism and nonprofit board leadership. Her enthusiastic advocacy for literature, her warm, detail-oriented approach, and her unique understanding of how to publish and market high-quality books makes her an ideal leader for our team.
